We are pleased to share that Achile, a representative from the Democratic Republic of Congo, recently met with the V2SDF (VET To Stop Deforestation) project team at IES La Merced. This productive meeting focused on exchanging critical information about the V2SDF initiative, which aims to integrate vocational education and training with sustainable forestry management to combat deforestation.

During the session, Achile gained comprehensive insights into the project’s objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes. The interaction reinforced international collaboration efforts to address environmental challenges through innovative vocational training programs.

Such engagements are pivotal in fostering knowledge exchange and empowering local communities with sustainable skills for forest conservation and climate resilience.
